Dioxin MonitoringSystem® General Description

The Dioxin Monitoring System® is a device, which has been developed for continuous monitoring of dioxin emissions. The design further offers versatile application for the sampling of other pollutants, like e.g. PCBs, metals, HCB, etc. The design and the use of the dilution method offer versatile and representative applications, like sampling of organic pollutants (e.g. PCBs, metals, HCB) and fine dust (PM10, PM2.5)…

Dioxin MonitoringSystem® Application

The Dioxin Monitoring System® is mainly used for long term sampling of polychlorinated dibenzopdioxins and -furans. Usually a one month sampling period is selected. In this case complete surveillance is ensured by doing 12 measurements a year. Measurements according 2000/76/EG. The European directive 2000/76/EG limits emitted dioxins to a valku of 0,1ng I-TEQ/m3. Measurements shall be performed using EN 1948-1…

Dioxin MonitoringSystem® Components

The sampling unit is mounted directly at the stack, with two probes inside and the sample precipitation part outside the stack. The accurate sampling precipitation and the control of the sampling conditions is done there. The features imclude Dilution method acc. to EN 1948-1 improved for long time dry sampling Complete precipitation of dust and fine dust including adsorbed dioxins Complete absorbtion of gaseous dioxins and other organics…
